A little bit about Jacob Vines...
A little bit about Jacob Vines...
He is a professional artist experienced in several mediums of fine and digital art. He was born and raised in the Lake Charles area of southwest Louisiana. Discovering a passion for drawing and designing at a young age, he declared a major in fine art with concentrations in advertising design and illustration at McNeese State University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art. Soon after, he decided to continue his education a little bit further at Sowela Technical Community College and received an Associate’s Degree in Drafting and Design. After working in the drafting field for a few years, he was offered a chance at learning the skills and trade of tattooing. From there, he found his passion for the medium, and finally started his career path as a tattoo artist.
Tattooing since 2012, Jacob is currently located at Creative Elements Tattoo Studio in Lake Charles, Louisiana. He is specializing in black and grey realism, but he is still open to all styles of tattooing if he feels that he is the right one for the job. Due to his drive to stay creative, he is not only tattooing, but he is now taking on commissions in the fields of graphic design, illustration, photography, filmmaking, and fine art!
